Barn Door Vintage Market and Maker’s Fair formally known as the “Old Time Peddlers’ Faire” event began 28 years ago with a few collectible and antique stores displaying their items on tables at the Kern County Museum. Since then, it has out-grown the museum and moved to the Kern County Fairgrounds and partnered with the Bakersfield Home Show. We now have hundreds of select antique and collectible dealers from all over the county and thousands of loyal fans.Barn Door Vintage Market and Maker’s Fair now takes up the entire building #1 and the outdoor area. The show offers connoisseurs and new collectors alike an opportunity to examine and purchase items that include period furniture, decorative antiques, vintage textiles and fashion, pottery, porcelain, pink and blue depression glass, paintings, prints, jewelry, clocks, watches, treen, and much, much more. The fair gives the public a rare opportunity to ask questions from knowledgeable dealers and witness firsthand the rare history of our great county.
